We can recommend fantastic local suppliers who regularly cater for celebrations at Longlands, including:
You arrange menus, services and payment directly with your chosen suppliers, allowing you to create the celebration you want without a conventional hotel wedding package. No corkage.
You're equally welcome to bring your own food and drinks or arrange suppliers of your choice. Supermarket deliveries can also be arranged directly to Longlands, provided they're scheduled for at least one hour after check-in, when someone from your group will be available to receive them.

Couples can arrange their legal ceremony elsewhere, including at nearby Arches Beach Weddings in Combe Martin, before returning to Longlands for their reception.
Symbolic ceremonies may also be arranged at Longlands by prior agreement.
Our maximum capacity is 50 guests in total, including overnight guests, children and anyone attending only for the day or evening. The only exception is babies sleeping in travel cots.
These limits are in place to comply with our insurance, fire safety and accommodation requirements, ensuring everyone can enjoy their celebrations safely and comfortably.
If you're planning a larger wedding with more than 50 guests, excluding babies in travel cots, Longlands Devon would not be suitable for your celebration.
Yes. Exclusive private estate hire includes Lakeview Farmhouse and all five Safari Lodge Treehouses, providing accommodation for up to 50 guests across 21 bedrooms and 34 beds.
Your group has the entire estate to yourselves, with no other guests staying on site.
Absolutely! You're welcome to play music and enjoy dancing inside the Farmhouse, provided all doors and windows remain closed to contain the sound.
For outdoor celebrations, unamplified acoustic music, such as a guitarist performing in our beautiful Valley Meadow, is very welcome. A silent disco is another wonderful option, allowing everyone to dance in the valley meadow without disturbing the peaceful surroundings.
We don't permit DJs, live bands or amplified outdoor music, as sound travels surprisingly far across our secluded valley.
Outdoor quiet hours begin at 10pm, when we ask guests to keep noise to a considerate level.
There's no set finishing time for indoor celebrations, provided music and noise remain contained within the Farmhouse and don't disturb neighbouring properties.
No, marquees are not permitted at Longlands.
Our wedding receptions are designed around the existing Farmhouse, its adjoining living and dining spaces and the beautiful natural surroundings of the estate.
For larger seated meals, additional tables and chairs can be hired by arrangement.
Longlands is a self-catering private estate rather than a fully managed wedding venue.
We don't provide wedding planning or day-of coordination, but we're happy to recommend trusted local suppliers who regularly work with our guests, including event and wedding planners.
Couples arrange and pay for their chosen services directly.
Absolutely! You're welcome to arrange your own catering, subject to our usual property and supplier requirements.
We can recommend private chefs, pizza trucks, BBQ caterers and other local food and drink suppliers.
Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement, subject to our pet policy and applicable charges.
Please let us know how many dogs you would like to bring before booking. £60 per pet fee applies.
For wedding receptions in 2028, we offer exclusive private estate hire only, including the Farmhouse and all five Safari Lodge Treehouses.
This ensures complete privacy for your celebration, with no unrelated guests staying elsewhere on the estate.
For earlier dates, please contact us to discuss the arrangements available.
Longlands is an operational private holiday estate rather than a traditional wedding venue, so we cannot routinely accommodate advance viewings around guest reservations.
Our website provides extensive photography and accommodation information, and we're happy to answer questions about the estate and how your celebration could work.
A 50% deposit is required to secure the reservation, with the remaining balance due six months before arrival.
Deposits and payments are non-refundable in accordance with our booking terms.
