Tucked into the hillside and surrounded by nature, our luxury safari lodges offer a unique countryside glamping experience reminiscent of a secluded treehouse retreat.
Just minutes from Longlands Devon, guests can explore North Devon’s spectacular coastline, hidden coves and unforgettable wildlife experiences.
Woolacombe Beach (15 minutes)
A three-mile stretch of golden sand popular for surfing, swimming and seaside cafés and restaurants.
Combe Martin (10 minutes)
A sheltered cove ideal for rock pooling, kayaking and family adventures.
Ilfracombe Harbour (15 minutes)
Boat trips, sea safaris, galleries and coastal charm.
Broadsands Beach (by boat or kayak)
A secluded cove only accessible from the water — perfect for those seeking a hidden coastal escape.
Wildlife lovers may spot seals along the coastline, while larger groups can charter private boat trips or join daily excursions from Ilfracombe for an unforgettable day at sea.
After coastal adventures, return to the peaceful valley at Longlands to relax, unwind and watch the stars emerge.
Guests often describe the lodges as having a peaceful treehouse feel — immersed in nature yet with the comforts of luxury accommodation.
Each Lodge has its own en-suite shower room and separate en-suite wash room with flushing loo and basin.
Hot water is heated using a traditional wood-fired boiler, providing a wonderfully hot shower after coastal adventures.
We provide all the bath linen you should need, plus a gorgeous range of natural aromatherapy bathroom products, including shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and hand wash.
Also provided are basic essentials such as loo paper and hand towels.
Our “Cabin Bed” converts into a cot, or there’s a travel cot if you prefer. Mattress provided, but bring a sleeping bag and favourite blanket for your baby or toddler.
Underneath the cabin bed there’s space to play. Don’t forget headphones if you want to turn it into a mini cinema! There is a plug for charging should you need it.
We also provide a high chair and melamine crockery for little ones.
Each Lodge has its own private BBQ area above the Lodge.
The view from the BBQ platform is quite spectacular!
There you will find a Kadai fire bowl for use as a fire pit or for BBQing, seating and a relaxing hammock.
There's nothing better than watching the sun set from the BBQ platform, and come nightfall, you can start the firepit, hop into your very own hammock and stargaze.
